Savanna's competitive spirit stems from fifteen years of equestrian competition. Her introduction into the world of motorsports, however, came through her professional modeling career. As a long time automotive enthusiast, Savanna loved working events, tradeshows, and races all over the country. It wasn't until Nismo Fiesta in 2014, where she attended as an umbrella girl for Nissan, that she stumbled upon her interest in racing. From that day forward she was hooked. A few months later she purchased a Nissan 350z of her own, and began attending all the track days and driving schools she could manage. With a laser focus on seat time, Savanna has since acquired her NASA / SCCA Competition Licenses. In early 2017, Savanna landed a seat as a development driver for the Winding Road Racing team in NASA's most competitive Spec Racing series, Spec Miata Texas Region. Under the wing of the Winding Road Racing team, Savanna receives coaching and data acquisition from Pro Driver, National Champion, and Mx-5 Cup 2016 Rookie Driver of the Year, Mark Drennen. Savanna has since racked up wins in  endurance racing. sprint racing, time attack and time trials; and took home a NASA Championship in TT Unlimited to round out the 2017 Season, as well as finishing 2nd in the Global Time Attack Pro Series Unlimited Class Championship and NASA TT1 Championship in 2018. In 2019, Savanna brought home multiple wins and podiums as well as the NASA ST1 Championship in the #916 Enjuku Racing LS350Z.

Savanna's devotion to the sport doesn't end behind the wheel. She is just as actively involved in every part of her race programs. From building and maintaining the race cars, to hauling the rig, training on the sim, and more, she strives to be educated and involved in every part of the process. In the near future, Savanna aims to see herself earn a seat in a professional sports car racing series. In 2020, Savanna has truly made a career out of her efforts in racing, working full time in the automotive industry, including signing on as the Pit Reporter for VP Racing Fuels in IMSA, and working with Skip Barber Racing School sharing her passion with students!

In 2021 Savanna was named the first female scholarship winner at the Mazda Motorsports MX-5 Cup Shoot Out. She went on to make her professional sports car racing debut in IMSA with Mazda Motorsports.
